January 2,2014 I posted my first, and until now my only, blog. December 24, 2014, Christmas Eve, I received my first response to the blog. As I pursue my Christian faith this is encouraging. I had forgotten all about WordPress and my attempt to blog. Many will consider this a coincident, but it has a greater affect on me. Christmas is the birthday of, a new beginning, our savior, Jesus. This is of course encouraging with the messages He delivers in various ways.
This brings me to the question, is Eternity linear or is it the breadth of boundless infinity, for lack of better understanding. If it is linear then just carry on. However if it is all expansive, non-directional, and unconstrained then anything can happen at any time in anyone life. Not constrained by time the experience of the birth of Christ may happen in each individual life today. Today is the day of salvation if you choose. We are trapped in time during this journey called life. Enjoy and even rejoice in this wonderful gift. You already know everything you need to know. Make good decisions. You will know if they are right or wrong. They are just mile post along the journey. If they are wrong turn from them. It is difficult to turn from a beautiful vista, but if the Grand Canyon lies in your path you have to change direction. (I love standing at the South Rim of the Grand Canyon where the vista of the North Rim is so tempting and seems so close) I have read and been inspired by, “encourage each other daily before your heart is hardened.” Do not let time erode the pleasure of this journey. Everything that happens should happen. I hope this encourages someone. I am not called to evangelize or preach. I cannot save anyone.
My first post follows. It was a New Year’s resolution. I worked at it and have been encouraged by exercising the ways to achieve it. ;))))
Now to the third major resolution: I resolve to be a truer friend and to become more socially acceptable to people of high standards.
I now include; I hope everyone has a wonderful happy Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
